The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

Marketing Operations Lead; Product + Technology

As a Marketing Operations Lead – Product + Technology, you will be at the forefront in shaping the Marketing organizations product portfolio and success.

Our products cover a spectrum of marketing product capabilities, from campaign planning and creation, delivery and optimization to insights and analysis reporting. In this role you will collaborating closely with senior leadership and product teams across Marketing, Digital, TII, Roundel and partner teams, you will be responsible for leading the development of marketing product OKRs and facilitating the processes that maintain.

You will represent the needs of our Marketing Product CFT/Portfolio to key stakeholders ensure that their needs are met, and that the product teams are getting the direction and support needed to maintain healthy products. You will develop and actively understand the market and best in class marketing portfolio needs, maintain a product roadmap setting clear prioritization and timing for our needs and backlog outlining the highest impact work for our teams and stakeholders.

You will build and maintain the partnership and engagement model with both established and to be built global product and technology teams ensuring seamless integration into enterprise technology processes and routines.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create a cohesive story about how individual products strategy roll up to the sum of portfolios efforts

  • Facilitate priorities gathering across the marketing product portfolio – driving discussion and alignment to our product roadmap at the portfolio level – helping to make choices about what are we doing, why and why.

  • Own portfolio health metrics and consult and coach on product analytics when needed.

  • Support decision making with data and insights

  • Coordinate product needs between clients and different teams including: GMS, Social, Media & Channels, Retail Brand Experience, Target Creative, partnering with key stakeholders across Digital, Roundel, and Circle/Loyalty.

  • Meet with product managers to identify and remedy development roadblocks.

  • Prepare and monitor product portfolio resource + plans budgets.

  • Integration of the product portfolio into the global tech operating model.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Four-year degree or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years of product management experience or equivalent experience, preferably in marketing product or technology

  • Experience with Greenfield, Big Red 3, SharePoint, DOMO, Smartsheet, and Adobe Analytics

  • Ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams while also elevating key headlines and discussions to Sr leadership teams

  • Experience working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)

  • Strong communication skills

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs.  A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year.  A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
